When will I receive an ID Card?
Your Insurance
Enrollment Form must be completed and returned to NEBCO. ID cards
will be mailed directly to your home, within approximately 10 business
days, from the date we receive the request. If you have single coverage,
you will receive one card; if you have family coverage, you will receive
two cards. Additional cards may be obtained upon request for eligible
dependents that are away at school or do not live at home.

How long does it take to process a claim?
It normally
takes 2-3 weeks from the receipt of your claim for it to be processed
and a check to be mailed. This does not include mailing time. When
a claim is missing information such as name, social security number,
diagnosis, physician information or a TRICARE Explanation of Benefits
(EOB), the claim may be placed into a pending review file and payment
may be delayed until such time when the information is received.

Why do we mail our premium payments to a Dallas, Texas address?
The premium
payments mailed to Dallas are deposited directly into the bank and premium
payments are posted into the billing system in a timelier manner.

Can we make premium payments by credit or debit cards?
At this time
we are unable to accept credit or debit card payments. For your personal
convenience, you can pay your premiums automatically by Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT). Authorized EFT payments from your bank checking account
are processed on the 1st of the month.
7.
If my policy lapses can you reinstate my coverage or do I have to reapply
for coverage?
If your insurance
policy has lapsed for over 45 days, you must reapply for insurance coverage.
Reinstatement is only considered if the lapsed period is less than 45
days.
8.
Can I file a claim online?
Insurance
carriers require the original claim be submitted for processing. Currently
you cannot file a claim online.
9.
Can I check the status of a claim online?
Unfortunately,
you cannot check the status of a claim at this time. However, we will
have this capability, for claims processed by WEB-TPA, in the near future.
